The ski regions and mountain railways in Tyrol, Salzburg and Carinthia have been relying on the expertise of Postbus ski bus services for decades. For decades we have been offering the local population and all holiday and leisure guests an optimally organised feeder service with short intervals for any sport and leisure activity in Austria's mountains.
High up with the most beautiful views
In Kaunertal, for example, we drive to the highest bus stop in Austria at 2,750 metres above sea level. This means that our bus drivers not only have a job with the most beautiful views, but also offer our passengers an absolutely safe and environmentally friendly journey to the lifts - without any parking chaos at the lifts.
Postbus gets ready for the ski season
Every year, we welcome millions of winter sports enthusiasts on our ski buses. In Tyrol alone, an additional 2.4 million bus kilometres were travelled in 2019, which corresponds to around 60 circumnavigations of the equator. In order to be ready for the fun on the slopes in the winter sports regions of Tyrol, Salzburg and Carinthia, the existing bus service will be increased by an additional 80 buses for the start of this year's peak season on Boxing Day. For this purpose, we are looking for reinforcement for our more than 1,000 regular drivers.
