Busworld Europe, the world's largest trade fair for the bus industry, took place in Brussels from 6 to 9 October. Postbus was there with a delegation to experience the mobility of tomorrow up close.
Over 500 exhibitors from 38 countries presented their latest technologies, from innovative drive systems and camera systems as mirror replacements to predictive maintenance solutions that detect repairs before they even become a problem. Initial approaches to autonomous driving were also in the spotlight.
The trade fair made it clear that the bus industry is at a turning point. E-mobility, digitalization, and networked systems are shaping the future. New battery generations, fully electric models, and modular vehicle concepts are just a few examples of the trends that are making bus transport more efficient, sustainable, and safer.
The Postbus experts took a close look at the innovations, arranged test drives, and gathered ideas to continuously improve our fleet and processes. This allows us to keep our finger on the pulse, identify opportunities early on, and actively shape the mobility of tomorrow - for our passengers and a sustainable future.
