Since 15 June, the Thermenlandbus of the ÖBB Postbus, which had to take a break for corona reasons, is now on the road again between the Thermal region in Eastern Styria and Vienna Central Station. What´s new: the Postbus literally offers the best and fastest connection from Vienna to Wine, Pleasure & Spa in Styria - and that online. Because the Thermenland connections are now also bookable, in addition to the Vienna Airport Lines, in the Postbus ticket store. This means that tickets are not only available directly from the bus driver, from the ÖBB Postbus customer office at the Fürstenfeld train station, the "Bahnhof in the City", the Fürstenfeld tourist office, but also online. And online sales are enjoying great popularity, as over 600 tickets have already been sold via the online portal in the first two month.
Cycling enthusiasts watch out!
But the Thermenlandbus has another novelty in its luggage. For all those who not only want to travel safely, fast, comfortable and environmentally friendly to the Thermal region in Eastern Styria, but also want to combine the bathing pleasure with a bicycle tour, it is now also possible to take your bike with you. We simply pack your bike piggyback on the bike carrier and you can continue cycling at your destination – whether in swimming trunks, thermal bath outfit or cycling jersey, with the ÖBB Postbus you are on the road safely.
